1. Overview
CrazyCopy is a Windows desktop application developed by Void-Pointer Ltd. for copying, moving, and managing files, folders, shortcuts, symbolic links, junctions, and other supported filesystem objects.
CrazyCopy respects user privacy and does not collect, transmit, or analyse personal information for telemetry, advertising, profiling, or analytics.
2. File and Folder Operations
CrazyCopy accesses files, folders, storage devices, and filesystem information solely to perform operations initiated by the user.
These operations may include:
- Copying and moving files and folders.
- Deleting source files or folders as part of requested move operations.
- Creating, copying, moving, or deleting shortcuts, symbolic links, and junctions.
- Reading filesystem metadata required to perform and validate operations.
- Recording operational information in local application logs.
CrazyCopy does not analyse file contents or filesystem metadata for profiling, advertising, or other purposes unrelated to the requested filesystem operation.
3. Data Collection and Telemetry
CrazyCopy does not collect or transmit telemetry, usage statistics, analytics, or personal information to Void-Pointer Ltd. or third-party analytics services.
No file contents, filenames, directory paths, or filesystem metadata are automatically transmitted to the developer.
4. Local Application Logs and Settings
CrazyCopy may maintain application logs and configuration settings on the user’s local computer.
Logs may contain filenames, directory paths, operational results, error messages, and other information necessary for troubleshooting and reporting file operations.
This information remains on the local computer and is not automatically transmitted to Void-Pointer Ltd. or third parties.
5. Network File Operations
CrazyCopy performs file operations only on locations selected or specified by the user.
When a user selects a network location, remote drive, or other externally connected storage destination, CrazyCopy may transfer files and associated filesystem information to that location as part of the requested operation.
Such transfers are initiated by the user and are not telemetry, analytics, or data collection performed on behalf of Void-Pointer Ltd.
6. Third-Party Services
CrazyCopy does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics services.
CrazyCopy may be distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft independently manages Store purchases, licensing, installation, and related services under Microsoft’s own privacy policies.
Void-Pointer Ltd. does not receive file contents or filesystem information through these Store services.
7. Data Storage and Control
Files and folders processed by CrazyCopy remain under the user’s control and are stored, moved, or deleted according to the operations requested.
Application logs and settings are stored locally and may be managed or deleted by users with appropriate Windows filesystem permissions.
CrazyCopy operates within the access permissions provided by Windows and the current user.
8. Children’s Privacy
CrazyCopy is a general-purpose file-management application. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
9. Changes to This Policy
Void-Pointer Ltd. may update this Privacy Policy if CrazyCopy’s functionality or data-handling practices change.
Any revised policy will be made available through the Microsoft Store listing or another appropriate published location.
